Esther, or Essy, always wanted to be a part of something she felt passionate about, but for many years, couldn't discover what that passion was.

 

Born and raised in Tanzania with a background in journalism, she felt the need to move away to a new country for perspective, in hopes of finding herself.

 

Three years later, Essy came across a breathtaking balloon backdrop that changed everything for her. Out of curiosity, she went on to learn all the perks of balloons and backdrops through YouTube tutorials and late nights of practice, and eventually turning her passion into a side hustle.

 

Zuri is Swahili for beautiful. It brings her the utmost joy and honor to create beautiful memories for beautiful people with beautiful occasions, through the art of colors, balloons and backdrops.
